Sandston occurs as community within Virginia located near a state capital Richmond. These are perfect next to the Richmond International Airport. Sandston occurs as neck of the woods in the Varina district of Henrico County.
History
In the period of World War I, a total of homes got been built in the area for each non-noncom & enlisted men. Fallowing a war, an investment class action headed by Oliver J. Sands bought the land and buildings when they came up for sale as surplus. A community was known as Sandston when Mr. Sands, world health organization was President of a Richmond & Fairfield Railway, the electrical street railway line which ran through Highland Springs to the National Cemetery at Seven Pines.
A community was later on served by Fairfield Transit Company, whose old bus barn was extant at Seven Pines in 2005, as was a sooner trolley car barn in Richmond in Northward 29th Street.
